The Time Of The Leap

This work was composed for the celebration of the "Kyohei Ando Euphonium Recital" held on June 12, 2013. And hopes for Mr. Ando's future increasing success. Initially, Mr. Ando was shortly after returning from the United States, but I hope he demonstrated without regret what he learned in the United States, and I thought it is time to make a dramatic leap. Therefore, I decided on the title “The Time of the Leap”. It is a small piece made up of three parts that are completely different in character: Allegro Moderato, Moderato, and Allegro Molt. The wind band accompaniment version premiered on October 20, 2013, at the 38th Zuyo Youth Music Festival.
