Description
Two, rather randomly chosen dances by two composers who lived at the same time. Dance from "Czar and Carpenter" - Albert Lortzing Albert Lortzing (1801 - 1851) was a German composer, who wrote cheerful and colorful music, for example in his opera "Czar and Carpenter" (Zar und Zimmermann). The "Clog Dance" from this opera is well known. However, a different dance has been chosen, one that resounds to a wedding scene. Dance from "Rosamunde" - Franz Schubert Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828) was an Austrian composer, who produced an enormous oeuvre in his short life. The incidental music for "Rosamunde" also includes ballet music, from which dance has been chosen for this edition.
