Description
This symphony for wind bands is a harmonic journey of wind & percussion melodic textures and rhythmic vitality. I wrote this symphony in late 2020 to dedicate and put my heart and passion into wind music and my music career today. I need to thank all these people, for what I am because of them. I wrote this symphony in 4 separate movements with 4 characters that have a difference in content, melody, rhythm, and feeling. Every movement can be performed separately. (That is easier for the conductor, deciding to perform one movement or perform the complete symphony in concert or at any contest regarding the time limits or any choice.) Every year I plan to write only 1 movement from 2020 and will complete it all in 2023. I always talk to myself that all my life I will write only one Symphony. Writing this music I never thought about being famous or any business purpose. I just love wind music and need to share my passion with the world. My thanks to the people that inspired me to music, to reach my goals, and achieve my musical dreams. More importantly, without them, I would have been lost. A simple "thank you" is probably not enough So, this is my plan for Symphony No. 1. 1st Movement "Sensei" Teachers (2020) 2nd Movement "Mother" (2021) 3rd Movement "All Of My Students" (2022) 4th Movement "Me" (2523) About the 2nd Movement “Mother”. Symphony No. 1 for Wind Band 2nd Movement “Mother” I wrote this to refer to 2 meanings Of Mother the First One that I respect is My Mother for being the first place that my heart could call home and her infinite love that I am always grateful that have taught me to be. Another meaning of Mom in This Symphony is originating from the teachings of a 19th-century woman named Nakayama Miki, known to her followers as "Oyasama” in the Tenrikyo ( 天理教 ) religion that now we have various community-focused organizations. It has 1.75 million followers in Japan and is estimated to have over 2 million worldwide believers. Tenrikyo's worldly aim is to teach and promote the Joyous Life, which is cultivated through acts of charity and mindfulness called hinokishin. I wrote this movement to dedicate and put my heart and passion into wind music and my music career today. I need to thank all these people, for what I am because of them. And for sure this Movement of the Symphony can play alone without another movement to send the sound of this 2nd movement to be a Thank You message for Mom in your concert or competition.
